Will These Pool Vacuum Bags Fit My Cleaner? BWT PK Turbo, Kokido, F1 Turbo & The Bottom Feeder

Own a cordless pool vacuum and just need replacement bags? The most important thing to get right isn't the brand on your cleaner — it's the bag size and how the bag attaches. Pool vacuum debris bags are sized by width and length, and the bag has to match your cleaner's frame to seal properly and not pop off. Here's exactly which cleaners our bags fit, which ones need checking first, and how to check yours.

The short answer

Our debris and filter bags are the 13" wide “spa length” size, and they cinch onto the frame with a drawcord. That's the arrangement designed for smaller-frame cordless vacuums — which means they fit:

  • The Bottom Feeder (the cleaner we specialise in, and the one this whole range is built around)
  • Kokido drawcord bag cleaners in the Vektro family — full detail on our Kokido replacement filter bags page
  • BWT PK Turbo (BWT's popular rechargeable cordless head, widely used on Australian pools)

Frames, bag mechanisms and revisions vary across these ranges, so treat this as the starting point rather than a guarantee. Browse the range on the Debris Bags collection — from $44.95.

One thing worth knowing up front: while these bags fit several smaller-frame cleaners, The Bottom Feeder is the unit actually built to run the whole range — every micron from 40 µm up to the 3 mm leaf bag — with bags and spare parts supplied and supported from Australia. Most competitor cleaners ship with just one or two bag options, so if you're upgrading the cleaner itself and not only the bags, it's the one we'd point you to.

Does it fit my Kokido?

If your Kokido cordless vacuum uses a mesh debris bag that slides over the head and cinches with a cord (as the Vektro-style models do), the 13" spa-width bag is the right match. You get more micron choices than the single bag that ships with the unit — a fine 80 micron for dust and algae, a mid-range 100 micron, or a coarse 3 mm leaf bag for storm clean-ups. Kokido frames vary a lot across the range and some models use a click-on cartridge rather than a drawcord bag, so if you're unsure which model you have, measure your current bag's opening width before ordering, or send us the model and we'll confirm. Model-by-model detail and the OEM part numbers are on our Kokido replacement filter bags page.

Does it fit my BWT PK Turbo?

Yes. The BWT PK Turbo is one of the most common cordless heads on Australian pools, and our 13" spa-width bags fit it. It's the easiest way to get more micron choices than the bags the unit ships with — a fine 80 micron for silt and sand, or a coarse 3 mm leaf bag for autumn and storm debris. If your PK Turbo is an older revision or has been modified, measure the bag opening against the 13" width before ordering, or send us the model and we'll confirm. For the full breakdown, part codes and micron options, see our BWT PK Turbo replacement filter bags page.

Does it fit my BWT F1 Turbo?

Confirm with us first. This one used to sit in our “yes” list, and we've moved it. BWT documents the F1 Turbo's filter-bag attachment as a Click N' Lock system — a different mechanism from the drawcord bags we supply. That doesn't mean our bag won't work on your unit, but it does mean the 13" opening measurement on its own isn't enough evidence to promise a fit, and we'd rather say so than take the sale. Send us your model and a photo of the bag mount and we'll tell you straight.

Which replacement bag part number am I searching for?

Cordless-cleaner owners often shop by the code printed on the original bag or in the manual rather than by the cleaner's name. If you've searched one of the OEM part numbers below, our 13" spa-width bags may be the Australian equivalent for the smaller-frame drawcord cleaners — more micron choices, from $44.95. Important caveat: the same code is often listed against several different frames, so measure your bag opening (around 13") or send us your model and we'll confirm the right bag before you buy.

“Standard”, “fine” and “coarse” filter bags — what those names mean in microns

BWT, Kokido and the Australian shops that stock them label bags by grade — a standard (or regular) filter bag, a fine filter bag, a coarse filter bag, or a cartridge filter. We label ours by the actual micron rating instead. That's why a search for a “PK Turbo fine filter bag” or a “Kokido standard filter bag” can be confusing.

Grade names are not standardised across brands. The pairing most PK Turbo and Kokido owners are replacing is a 250 µm standard and a 75 µm fine, but we've seen Kokido fine bags published at 150 µm on other model families, and other Australian suppliers run a different scale again — extreme fine 60 µm, ultra fine 75 µm, standard 100 µm, medium 200 µm, coarse 400 µm. A “fine” bag from one brand can be more than twice as open as a “fine” bag from another. Where you can find a published micron rating for your own bag, go by that number rather than the grade name.

Read the table below as “closest option by nominal micron rating”, not as a promise of identical filtration. Mesh construction, material and weave differ between manufacturers, so two bags with similar micron numbers won't necessarily behave the same way in the water.

Grade name on your original bag Typical OEM rating (BWT / Kokido) What it catches Closest option in our range
Fine filter bag 75 µm Sand, silt, grass clippings 80 µm — our closest nominal micron match. Slightly more open than 75 µm, not finer. For a genuinely tighter mesh, 57 µm
Standard / regular filter bag 250 µm Leaves, gravel, coarse grit 180 µm is a tighter alternative, and 140 µm is tighter again. Neither is an equivalent grade to a 250 µm bag — both simply have a smaller nominal opening size
Extra fine / cartridge filter Around 50 µm and below Dust, pollen, dead algae after a chlorine shock 57 µm, or 40 µm extra-long for maximum capacity
Coarse filter bag / leaf bag Open coarse mesh — usually not micron-rated Leaves, twigs, gumnuts, storm debris Green 3 mm heavy-duty leaf bag. Note 3 mm is 3,000 µm — far more open than any micron-rated bag on this page. It's a leaf catcher, not a filter

The rule to remember: a lower micron number means a tighter mesh. So if your cleaner shipped with a 250 µm “standard” bag and you keep seeing silt puff back out into the water, stepping down to 80 µm or 57 µm is the fix. OEM ratings also vary between model years and product families, so if the exact micron matters for your job, send us your cleaner's make and model plus the code printed on your old bag and we'll confirm before you order.

Kokido and BWT models: which ones take a 13" bag?

Kokido and BWT sell a wide model range under several names, and they don't all share a bag size or the same bag mechanism. Here's where each one sits, honestly — including the ones we can't help with.

Model Our position
BWT PK Turbo (EV105TURBO) Fits
Kokido Vektro / Deluxe Vektro (drawcord bag) Fits
The Bottom Feeder Fits — the cleaner this range is built around
BWT F1 Turbo (EV105CBX) Confirm the mount first. BWT documents a Click N' Lock bag attachment, so opening width alone doesn't establish compatibility
Kokido Voltera 105 / Vektro XL / Telsa 90 / Voltera 75 Measure first. Fitment varies by model and revision — measure your bag opening or send us the exact model and we'll confirm
Kokido Telsa 05 / Telsa 30 (spa units) Measure first. These smaller spa cleaners usually take their own narrower bag
Any click-on or Click N' Lock cartridge mount Confirm the attachment first. A drawcord bag is not a direct swap for a click-lock cartridge, whatever the opening measures
Kokido XTROVAC 110 / 410 / 910 (handheld) Unlikely. The XTROVAC bag is published at roughly 9.85" wide, well under our 13" — check yours before ordering
Hammerhead, Riptide, Power Vac Not our size. These professional machines commonly use a wider 15" bag, so we don't advertise our 13" bags for them

If your model isn't on the list, or you're sitting between two sizes, the reliable test takes ten seconds: lay your old bag flat and measure straight across the opening. Around 13" and you're in range. Then check how it attaches — ours cinch with a drawcord. Still unsure? Send us the model and a photo of the bag opening and we'll confirm the fit before you buy — crownzpoolstore.com.au.

What about Hammerhead, Riptide or Power Vac?

These larger professional vacuums commonly use the wider 15" bag — a different size from the ones we stock. We've chosen to focus on the 13" spa-width range, so we don't advertise our bags for those machines. If you run a Hammerhead, Riptide or Power Vac, you'll want the 15" size from a supplier who carries it — or, if you're tossing up a lighter, cord-free replacement, take a look at The Bottom Feeder, which carries its battery onboard rather than on a deck cart.

Micron options (all 13" spa width, from $44.95)

Bag Rating Best for
40 Micron Extra-Long Super fine, 1 m long Dust, pollen, dead algae — maximum capacity
57 Micron Super fine Dust, pollen, dead algae
80 Micron Fine Fine dust, silt, sand — closest match to a 75 µm OEM fine bag
100 Micron Standard Sand, grit, general silt
140 Micron Standard leaf Leaves, twigs, pebbles
180 Micron Coarse leaf Heavy leaf loads at maximum flow
Green 3 mm Heavy duty leaf catcher Storm debris, autumn leaf fall

How to fit the bag so it doesn't pop off

Mesh bags can lift off the cleaner if air gets trapped inside as you lower it into the water. Two tips that fix almost every pop-off:

  • Cinch the cord lock tight. Make sure the bungee/drawcord is pulled firmly and locked before you start.
  • “Burp” the bag. Lower the cleaner into the pool gently rather than dropping it in, so trapped air can escape from the mesh instead of ballooning the bag off the frame.

With fine bags (below 100 micron), rinse the mesh more often — once the fine pores clog, water can't pass through and the bag behaves like a sealed plastic bag.

FAQ

How do I know if my cleaner takes the 13" bag?

Measure the opening width of your current bag. If it's around 13", you're in our range — then check that it attaches with a drawcord rather than a click-on cartridge. If you measure closer to 15", you have a larger professional machine and need the wider bag. If either check is borderline, send us the model and we'll confirm.

Is a “filter bag” the same thing as a “debris bag”?

They can refer to the same type of replacement bag, but the terminology varies by manufacturer and model. BWT and Kokido call them filter bags, most Australian pool shops call them debris bags, and plenty of people just say vacuum bags — all describing the mesh bag that mounts on the cleaner head and catches what you vacuum up. What actually matters is the opening width (ours are 13"), how the bag attaches, and the micron rating of the mesh — so measure your opening or send us your model and we'll confirm which one you need.

Can I use a finer bag than the one that came with my cleaner?

Usually, yes. On a cleaner already confirmed to take the 13" spa-width drawcord bag, you can switch to an 80, 57 or 40 micron for finer capture, or up to a 3 mm leaf bag for heavy debris. Frames and bag mechanisms do vary between models and revisions though, so if you haven't bought from us before, measure your opening or send us the model first. The Bottom Feeder is built to make the most of this, running the entire micron range as standard.

Not sure about your model?

Send us your cleaner's make and model and we'll confirm fitment before you buy.
